Boys Varsity Cross Country Competes in the 26th Annual Bear Mountain River Run
LOCK HAVEN-The Central Mountain boys cross country team put in strong performances at the BMRR Invitational, highlighted by junior Damien Winner’s run. Winner secured a 19th place finish with a time of 17:42.
Freshmen Shane Walker and Latrell Walker also made their mark with solid performances, showcasing their potential for the future. Shane Walker crossed the finish line in 20:18, closely followed by Latrell Walker, who clocked in at 20:22.
Other notable performances came from Sam Wible, who finished with a time of 19:28, and Riley Gonzalez, who completed the course in 20:13. Cody Etters and Gabriel Houser followed with times of 21:00 and 21:15, respectively, while Shayden Hill finished in 21:28.
The team was rounded out by Xian Deems (22:10), Cody Cardinal (23:37), Jaxon Hardy (24:00), Liam Darwin (25:38), Rhys Swift (27:01), and Cory Matejovich (28:06), all of whom contributed to a strong team effort.
With a mix of experienced runners and promising newcomers, the Central Mountain boys cross country team is poised for continued growth as the season progresses.
