Obituary – William H. Fornwalt, III
William H. Fornwalt, III, 71, of Renovo passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Born July 29, 1953 in Philadelphia to the late William Fornwalt II and Nancy Fornwalt of Ravenswood, WV.
Bill was married to the former Judith A. Nobel in 1999. They moved from Kutztown to Renovo, PA in 2012.
He worked for Cabot Corporation in Boyertown as a certified journeyman and active on their EMS team. He enjoyed hunting and was very involved in the Renovo community, serving on Renovo Borough Council and Bucktail Medical Center Hospital Board.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Renovo.
Surviving are his loving wife, son Travis (Peggy) Fornwalt of Bethlehem and a daughter; Shannon (Nino) Basile of Collegeville. He was also the loving stepfather to William (Helen) Bispels of Hamburg, Judi (Will) Bispels of Allentown, and Martin (Kristin) Bispels of Pottstown.
Bill was the proud grandfather to Gracie, Ludy, Jessie, Jack, Jonnie, Krista, Kelly, AJ, Parker, Carson, Mackenzie, Susan, and Alex. He was also “Pop” to great-grandchildren Nora, Toby, Grayson, Eloise, Jacob, Bryce, Maggie, Asa, Selah, and Ziana.
He was the oldest of eight children and was especially close to his brothers Brian and John as well as his Uncle Jack and Aunt Dee of NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. on Saturday, August 10 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1100 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Dutch Rinker officiating.
Maxwell Funeral Home Renovo, has charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that memorial gifts may be sent to Bucktail Medical Center, Zion Lutheran Church, or UPMC Hospice of Williamsport.
