Bucktail Medical Center Hosts Record-Breaking Golf Tournament at Clinton Country Club
On July 14, Bucktail Medical Center held its annual Golf Tournament at the Clinton Country Club in Mill Hall, marking the event’s largest turnout ever. A total of 184 golfers participated, surpassing previous years’ numbers and making this the biggest tournament in the club’s history. The tournament was divided into two waves, allowing for a smooth flow of play and ensuring everyone had a chance to enjoy the day.
The competition was fierce, with the morning group’s winning team posting an impressive score of -17. However, the afternoon group took it a step further, with their leading team achieving an astonishing -19. The day was filled with excitement, as thousands of dollars worth of door prizes were handed out, alongside gift cards for achievements like the closest to the pin and longest drives.
One of the day’s most memorable moments came courtesy of Jason Confair. His skillful putt, a challenging 25-footer, won him the putting contest and a truck bed cover generously donated by Diamondback Covers from Phillipsburg, PA. Confair’s victory was a highlight, celebrated by all who witnessed the impressive shot.
The tournament was not just about competition but also about community and camaraderie. Despite temperatures soaring into the triple digits, participants and volunteers alike enjoyed the day, sharing smiles, laughter, and a sense of togetherness. The event was a testament to the spirit of Bucktail Medical Center and its community, showcasing the warmth and dedication of everyone involved.
This day was yet another shining example of “Bucktail People Doing Bucktail Things,” celebrating community spirit and togetherness in true Bucktail style.
