Join the CMHS Clay Target Team for Fall Season Registration and Meet Professional Marksman Josh Richmond!
The Central Mountain High School Clay Target Team is excited to announce our upcoming Fall Season Registration and Informational Meeting! Join us on Monday, August 5th, at 6 PM to learn about “Who we are” and “What we do.” This event is open to all interested in clay target shooting and those who want to support our team.
Students in grades 9-12 attending Central Mountain High School, Bucktail High School, and Sugar Valley Rural Charter School are eligible to register. Please note that students must supply their own shotgun and ammunition. The registration fee is $40 per discipline, and students can choose to shoot up to two disciplines.
As a special bonus, we are thrilled to welcome professional marksman Josh Richmond as our guest. Josh will treat attendees to an impressive trick shooting demonstration and offer gun fitting sessions. For those unfamiliar with Josh, he hails from Hillsgrove, Sullivan County, PA, and began his journey in competitive shooting under the tutelage of Les Greevy at just 12 years old. By age 15, he had already earned a spot on the First USA team. With two Olympic appearances and a remarkable 20-year tenure as a shooting instructor with the Army Marksmanship Unit, Josh’s expertise is unparalleled. As the former globally top-ranked Double Trap shooter, he’s set to dazzle us with a presentation of his incredible trick shots from his time with the US Army shotgun demonstration team.
Additionally, EuroOptic will be on-site for the evening to discuss equipment options. They will provide information on affordable packages and payment plans for those interested in upgrading their gear.
