Lady Bucks Secure 4-2 Win Over Montgomery
MONTGOMERY – Coach Mike Poorman’s team hit the road to take on Montgomery on Tuesday, where the Lady Bucks battled hard and emerged with a well-earned 4-2 victory.
Montgomery took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning when Addi Muhl’s double brought in a run. However, the Lady Bucks responded strongly in the third inning, scoring three runs to seize control of the game. They added another run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Despite Montgomery’s attempts to rally in the seventh inning, they only managed to score one more run.
The Lady Bucks collected a total of 7 hits during the game, with Kendall Wagner and Alexis Lowery each contributing two hits. Mak Wagner showcased her hitting power with a triple, while Eva Sockman and Makenna Stone added a double each to the tally.
Mak Wagner held the pitching duties for the entire game, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits. She demonstrated impressive control by striking out eight batters and issuing just one walk.
Montgomery put up a strong offensive performance, amassing 9 hits throughout the game. Madisyn Miller stood out with two hits. Despite Ava Hartman taking the loss for Montgomery, she pitched well, striking out five batters, issuing one walk, and allowing seven hits and four runs.
