Lady Wildcat Swimmers Defeat Shamokin

COAL TOWNSHIP-The Central Mountain girls swim team picked up another victory Tuesday evening as they defeated Shamokin on the road 97-63.  The Wildcats swam to 9 victories out of the 11 contested events.

The 200 Medley and 200 Free Relay teams of Camryn Bair, Gabriella Hosley, Ana Persun, and Abrianna Hosley brought home 2  victories for Central Mountain.  They outdistanced their competition by over 8 seconds in both relays.  Individually, four Wildcats claimed gold in 7 of the 8 events.

Abrianna Hosley won the 200 IM and the 100 Back.  Gabriella Hosley claimed victories in the 200 Free and 100 Fly.  Senior Ana Persun won the 100 Free and the 100 Breaststroke.  Camryn Bair finished first in the 500 Free.

The girls are now 10-1 on the season and will host their last dual meet at LHU on 2/14 against Williamsport starting at 4:30.
