Clinton County kicks off the 2024 trail race season this weekend!

Prep activities are underway for Saturday’s 12th annual Frozen Snot trail race, held from the pavilion at Restless Oaks Restaurant in McElhattan.

Volunteers have been hard at work readying the trail – there’s a 13.5-mile half-marathon course as well as a shorter, 8.3-mile course on Bald Eagle Mountain – as well as (pictured here) making a mountain of food for the 350 runners expected to participate.

The event sees a 7:30 a.m. start, but many ‘Snotters’ will be in the area early, as registration kicks off Friday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Oregon Hill Winery in McElhattan. The Central Region Trail F(r)iends host the race, with Luke Ebeling serving as Race  Director.
