Central Mountain Boys Swimming has strong showing at Blue Jay Invitational
BLOOMSBURG, PA-The CM Boys Swim Team finished 5th out of 10 teams on Satuday at the BlueJay Invitational held on the campus of Bloomsburg University. The 200 Medley Relay of Neil Kaluzny, Jonathan Hughes, Cory Matejovich, & Raiden Newcomer finished 3rd. Hughes and Central Columbia’s Ethan Robertson were in a battle for 2nd place in the 100 Breaststroke. Hughes held the lead for the first 75 yards. On the last turn, Robertson pulled ahead and outtouched Hughes at the wall. The Wildcats got some PR’s from Raiden Newcomer in the 50 and 100 Freestyle, Neil Kaluzny in the 50 Freestyle, Bryce Warren in the 100 Freestyle, Cory Matejovich in the 100 Fly, and Kylan Cole in the 100 Back. The Wildcats have the week off before traveling to Mt. Carmel for a tri-meet on Dec. 19th.
