RENOVO – Get ready to kick off the holiday season with the Flaming Foliage Santa Parade and Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Renovo on Sunday, November 26th. The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. and will feature a festive display of floats, walkers, and even some furry friends dressed in their holiday best.

The parade will begin at St. Clair Avenue in Renovo and will wind its way through town, ending at the Flaming Foliage Festival Lot located at 1200 Huron Avenue. The theme this year revolves around none other than jolly old St. Nick himself. Santa Claus will be the star of the show, riding in his sleigh with Mrs. Claus and greeting everyone at the end of the parade.

After the parade, the festivities will continue at the Flaming Foliage Lot building, where Santa Claus will be ready to listen to kids’ Christmas wishes and for parents to capture a photo or two. The Flaming Foliage Festival Committee will be providing hot chocolate and cookies to attendees there as well.

There will also be a Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at the lot following the parade, and children are welcome to bring their own ornaments to help decorate the tree.

The Santa parade will be staffed with judges who will choose winners. Parade participants will not be judged based on any specific category, but the winners will receive cash prizes.

These events are organized and provided by the Flaming Foliage Festival Committee members.

Anyone interested in participating in the parade is still welcome to register! Units, floats, walkers, and even individuals wanting to showcase their furry friends dressed to match the holiday season are still encouraged to sign up.
