Pairings set for Bucktail, Central Mountain postseason play

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Districts 4 and 6 have finalized the pairings for post-season football and both Keystone Central high schools will be participating.

The Bucktail Bucks (5-4), the number four seed in PIAA District 4 Class 1A, will host its first-ever district playoff game on Friday night, the opponent number five seed Northwest Area (2-8). The game is a semifinal, the winner facing number one seed Muncy (9-1) the weekend of Nov. 10-11.

Central Mountain (3-7) will play in the District 6 Class 5A championship game Friday night against Hollidaysburg (4-5). The contest will be held at Altoona’s Mansion Park at 7 p.m. The Wildcats and Golden Tigers are the only two 5A teams in District 6.

Both the Bucks and Wildcat games will be audio streamed on therecord-online.
