Hagaman Elevated to County Veterans Affairs Officer
LOCK HAVEN – Jennifer Hagaman is the new Veterans Affairs Director for Clinton County.
The county commissioners approved her promotion at their Thursday meeting. Hagaman had previously served as veterans service officer. The commissioners said they will be advertising for a replacement for her in that slot.
Hagaman, a West Virginia native and Air Force veterans has resided in Clinton County for 19 years. She joined county government in 2013 as a part-time employee in the county prothonotary’s office, later became fulltime there and moved to the veterans service position two and a half years ago.
She said, “I am excited and eager to serve our veterans as I have been.” She said her work with veterans is a “natural progression” from previous volunteer work with veterans beginning in 2011.
Hagaman’s pay was set at $36,297. She replaces Bill Bechdel who recently resigned.
