Lady Wildcat volleyball bounces back for win at Bellefonte
BELLEFONTE, PA – It was a slow start for Central Mountain volleyball at Bellefonte Monday, but the Lady Wildcats rebounded from a first set loss for a 3-1 win.
First game was a slow start, at one point CM was down 13-5. With the combination of expert serving from Katlyn Bowman, Sophia Hardy, Payton Kinley and Reese Walizer they battled back, but still lost 25-22.
Game two was won by CM 25-19 and highlights were two aces each from Cora Meyers and Hardy.
Game three was won by CM 25-22. Highlights included three straight aces by Meyers. Kills that game were by Keely Rohrbach, Juliana Onuskanich and Payton Kinley; Hardy had two aces to end the game.
Game 4 was won by CM 25-18. The final set was back and forth until Myers served for nine straight points with five kills from Rohrbach and two kills from Ellen Banfill.
