County commissioners declare Hunger Action Month

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners at their Thursday meeting approved a proclamation designating the month of September as Hunger Action Month.

The commissioners said the county is committed to addressing hunger, raising awareness, and providing additional resources to those in need. Jeremy Pearson, from Central PA Food Bank, thanked the commissioners and the county for their partnership and support of thes mission. He also explained effects of inflation and the importance of continuing to raise both food and monetary donations to the Central PA Food Bank to combat hunger and food insecurity in the community.
