CM golfers edge Altoona

MILL HALL, PA – The Central Mountain golf team took on non-conference opponent Altoona at Clinton Country Club on Tuesday. The match, which was to be an 18 hole match, was shortened to 9 holes because of the heat but both teams played well in a close contest. The match medalist was Zach StClair coming in with a one under par 36.

Central Mountain finished with a score of 158 to the Mountain Lions’ 165.

Tuesday’s hot weather forced the postponement or cancellation of several other athletic events at different levels.
