Benefit Spaghetti Dinner to Support Xander Shearer Planned for January 24

RENOVO – A community benefit dinner will be held on Friday, January 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Renovo Fire Hall, located at 230 11th Street, Renovo, to support Xander Shearer and his family during his recovery.

The event will feature a spaghetti dinner, with tickets sold at the door for $10. Each ticket includes spaghetti, a side salad, a roll, and a drink. Takeout meals will also be available for those who prefer to enjoy dinner at home.
In addition to the meal, attendees will have chances to participate in several fundraisers, including a door prize drawing, 50/50 raffle, basket raffle, and ticket raffles. Each dinner ticket purchased at the door automatically enters guests into the door prize drawing. Those interested in donating items for the basket raffle are encouraged to reach out to the event organizer with questions or contributions.

Xander is a senior at Bucktail Are High School and was seriously injured in a car accident on December 9 and is currently in the ICU, where he is being treated for a traumatic brain injury and multiple other injuries. His recovery is expected to be long and challenging, and the community’s support will play an important role in helping him and his family through this difficult time.

Organizers hope the benefit dinner will bring together friends, family, and community members to show Xander just how much support surrounds him.

The public is encouraged to attend and help make this event a meaningful show of community support.
