County remains in market for 911 dispatchers
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners in recent months have renewed the county’s need for dispatchers at the county 911 center. At Thursday’s meeting word came that another dispatcher has left her post.
The commissioners accepted the resignation of Jalissa Schreckengast as a fulltime dispatcher, effective July 8. In other personnel matters, the commissioners approved the transfer of Luke Motter from full-time to part-time status as a deputy sheriff and the resignation of Kayla Glossner as an Agricultural Resources Conservationist.
It took the commissioners four minutes to transact their business on Thursday; commissioner Angela Harding was not in attendance.
Also Thursday the county posted word that the commissioners are accepting proposals for use of Community Development Block Grant funds for the 2023 fiscal year, the deadline Friday. Completed applications should be submitted to Kari Kepler in the county planning office at 2 Piper Way, Suite 244, Lock Haven.
