County looking at state study assistance over EMS crisis
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County is looking at engaging the services of the state Department of Community and Economic Development to conduct a study on emergency medical services in the county.
County Commissioner Angela Harding used the word crisis to describe the EMS situation in the county at the commissioners’ Monday work session. She said further discussion will be held at Thursday’s voting session. She said the county is looking to DCED to carry out a study so the county “can better move forward” on opportunities for funding to find solutions “to the crisis we’re having.”
Board chairman Miles Kessinger announced the county on Thursday will be releasing the names of the small businesses successful in securing up to $10,000 grants in American Rescue dollars the county had received in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
The Monday work session set what is believed to be a record for brevity, 3 minutes 18 seconds.
