Withdrawn REC project a topic on Fox News’ Fox & Friends program

RENOVO, PA – Locals involved in the failed effort to locate a billion-dollar natural gas-to-electricity plant in Renovo will discuss the Renovo Energy Center project on the Fox & Friends Memorial Day morning on the Fox News network on Monday, Memorial Day.

Tim Reeves, President of the Renovo Community Trade Association, and Mike Flanagan, President of the Clinton County Economic Partnership, are expected to be on the television show on Monday at 6:50 a.m. to discuss the abandoned Renovo Energy Center proposal.

After approximately nine years of planning, Renovo Energy Center announced last month they were withdrawing plans to construct eth natural gas to electric facility on the former Renovo Industrial Park site. The decision was made in part due to the delays brought forward by permit appeals from environmental groups.

Reeves and Flanagan will be interviewed via link-up from the Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo.
