Wildcat tennis downs Millionaires

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Central Mountain tennis team made its second trip in two days into Lycoming County on Friday and came home with another win, this time by a 4-1 score over Williamsport. The victory followed by one day a 3-2 win at Jersey Shore on Thursday.

According to coach Joel Brinker, the Wildcats played nice tennis in the hot sun: Joe McCluskey got a long-awaited victory by playing consistent tennis from start to finish. Asher Talbot showed resiliency by coming back from behind and getting the win in three sets. Nate Brinker and Joe Caimi won two sets with a nail-biter in the second. David Lindsay hit his marks and played nice all-around tennis. Ben Temple and Tim Brinker dropped the first set, went down in the second and battled back to also pull out the win in the 3rd set.
