CCCF funds synthetic skating rink for Downtown Lock Haven, Inc.

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Cllinton County Community Foundation President, Allan Lugg Jr recently presented Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. manager Kira Rosamilia and board president, Angela Harding with a $12,800 contribution from the foundation’s annual grant program.

The grant will bel used to buy a synthetic ice-skating rink for community use at special events and artistic wraps to cover the recently installed electrical boxes on Main Street, Lock Haven.

“We formed a design committee to accept proposals for art and they will select three that will be converted into wraps, making the large, black, electrical boxes more as aesthetically pleasing and bring more art to our business district,” said Rosamilia.

Rosamilia had a banner made thanking the foundation. It will used throughout the year and for the ice rink.

Lugg applauded Rosamilia’s hard work and creative ideas for the organization. “I commend Kira’s dedication towards making downtown a hub of events and activities for our community and the businesses. The foundation is proud to support her efforts and looks forward to the latest endeavors.”

Harding thanked the foundation for their generosity, the downtown board for volunteering their time to make the organization impactful, and lauded Rosamilia for her energy and positive approach to community.

The Clinton County Community Foundation awarded $592,000 in grants to local organizations and non-profits in their 2023 grant program.
