Wagner medals at state wrestling tourney

HARRISBURG, PA – Multi-sport standout Kendall Wagner finished in fourth place Sunday at the PA Girls Wrestling Championships at Central Dauphin High School.

Several other Central Mountain team members including Emma Scarborough and Paisley Beatty won at least one match and Leeah Eisenhower fell one win short of placing.

Wagner is a freshman at Bucktail High School where she is a frontline player on the Lady Buck basketball team and wrestles at Central Mountain through the schools’ co-op program.

Coach Biff Walizer, who coaches both the CM boys’ and girls’ teams, saluted the girls’ effort, stating “Nice work ladies!”
