Collin Jones selected to third consecutive All-MAC Commonwealth First Team
ANNVILLE, PA – Lebanon Valley senior Collin Jones was named to the First Team of the 2022-23 All-MAC Commonwealth Men’s Basketball Team on Tuesday in a release by the Middle Atlantic Conference office.
Jones earns his third consecutive selection to the first team after leading the conference with 18.7 points per game and finishing second in rebounding at 10.0 per game. The forward totaled 468 points, 250 rebounds, 27 assists, 22 steals, and eight blocks while consistently getting doubled and tripled-teamed throughout the year. Not only was Jones one of the top scorers in the conference he was also one of the top shooters finishing the year at 51.9 percent in field goal percentage which was ranked third while making the most shots at 179 and taking the third-most at 345. Jones led the conference and is 23rd in the nation with 13 double-doubles. The senior had his best game of the year with a season-high 31 points and a career-high 19 rebounds in a tough 92-87 double overtime defeat to Alvernia University on January 7. Jones was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week three times this season and was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week once.
Jones is a graduate of Central Mountain High School where he was a standout in basketball and football.
