Lock Haven man charged with ramming residence in Liberty Township
BLANCHARD, PA – Rockview state police have arrested a Lock Haven man and charged him with aggravated assault and related charges in a vehicle ramming incident in Liberty Township, Centre County, early last Saturday.
Kaine Darby, 24, is in Centre County Prison in default of $140,000 bail following his arrest.
According to the police affidavit of probable cause, police were summoned to a Liberty Street residence around 4 a.m. on Feb. 18 in response to a caller who reportedly told dispatchers that Darby was “ramming” his vehicle into the home.
Police allege that residents at the home observed Darby inside a black Hummer, ramming the vehicle into the structure, causing damage to a walkway, front door and a wall.
Police later found Darby at a nearby truck stop and took him into custody. He was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and marijuana at the time.
