Louise M. Embick, 79, of 1500 Evergreen Avenue,Weatherly, formerly of Lock Haven, Pa. passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, of complications of pneumonia.

Born December 20, 1935 in Sharon, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. and Dorothy M. Porterfield McIntyre.

She attended school in Sharon.

Louise was a short order cook and domestic worker in both Sharon and Lock Haven.

On April 15, 1961 in the Rectory of the former United Methodist Church in Lock Haven, she married Clayton Embick who preceded her in death on March 2, 1985. A companion, Kin Liang Hsu,(a.k.a. Tony), also preceded her in death on August 23, 1997.

Louise was a member of the Salvation Army, Lock Haven.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Holy Eagle of Boalsburg and Mary Jane Fenstamaker of Norristown; three sons: Ernest McQuiston of Jamestown, Clayton Embick of Cypress, TX, and Delbert E. Embick of Weatherly, Pa. and two sisters: Shirley A. Coast of Mercer and Mildred L. Swogger of Sharon; and eighteen grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by three brothers, Ernest E.McIntyre of Florida, Walter E.McIntyre of Orangeville, Pa, and Edward McIntyre, Jr. of Sharon, Pa.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 12 noon at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven with Major Sandra Ammerman officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Bellefonte.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army through the funeral home.
