Obituary – Donna Lorraine Bauman

Donna Lorraine Bauman, 75, of Lock Haven, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born April 5, 1950 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Beverly Orndorf Moore.

At the age of 16, Donna began her career at Woolrich Woolen Mills, where she served for over 40 years until her retirement.

She was a faithful and active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lock Haven.

1 John 4:19 – We love because He first loved us. To know Donna was to know love. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved her grandchildren and they all loved their Mammy.

Donna was a creative soul. She was a fan of the Arts, had a love for plays and musicals. She loved to travel and enjoyed singing, crafting, painting, decorating and cooking. She could make a meal out of nothing. Donna loved to go cruising and antiquing with her gal pals and family.

Donna faced adversity with grace and determination, always finding strength and purpose in overcoming obstacles. Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creative inspiration.

She is survived by three children, Marcie (Biff) Walizer of Mill Hall, Michael (Erica) Bauman of Ohio and Holly (Sophan Um) Hoffman of California; a sister, Darlene (Gerald) Rees of Austin; a brother, Maurice (Carolyn) Moore of New York; twelve grandchildren: Griffin, Reese and Raigan Walizer, Brandon, Trevor, Hunter, Chasity, Michael, Jr., and Gunner Bauman, Devin, Ethan and Lincoln Perry; and two great grandchildren, Christopher and Helena.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by three children, Jodi, Stacie and H. Graydon Bauman.

A memorial service for Donna will be announced at a later time with burial to take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
