UPMC hosting Thursday “tele-town hall” on UPMC Lock Haven hospital plans
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding on Thursday passed along word to the public that UPMC Williamsport will be hosting a Thursday 5 p.m. “Tele-Town Hall” on the upcoming changes at the UPMC facility in Lock Haven.
Harding, speaking at the commissioners’ Thursday meeting, said the commissioners “are keeping our eyes on the ball” relative to changes at the Lock Haven facility which as of April 20 will no longer be an acute care hospital.

UPMC has released word that participants in the 5 p.m. Thursday session will be Patti Jackson-Gehris, president, UPMC in North Central Pa., Ron Reynolds, president, UPMC Lock Haven, and Jeffrey Muenzer, MD, medical director, emergency medicine, UPMC Lock Haven and UPMC Williamsport,
Advance word from UPMC said community members may join the call, topics to be covered including the new care model, the outpatient emergency department, and “how UPMC will continue to be an essential health care provider for the community.”
