Hill announces run for magisterial district judge
LAMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – Jeremiah “Jed” Hill is announcing that he will be seeking nomination on both the Republican and Democratic tickets for Magisterial District Judge in Clinton County Magisterial District 25-3-02 (which covers Bald Eagle Township, Beech Creek Borough, Beech Creek Township, Greene Township, Lamar Township, Logan Township, Loganton Borough, Mill Hall Borough, and Porter Township).
Jed has lived almost his entire 44 years within Magisterial District #2. He currently resides in Lamar Township with his wife Angela and their two children Cayman and Colt. Together they enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, playing sports and traveling.
Jed is a 1997 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany (BEN) High School. After graduation from BEN, he attended Penn State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Resource Management.
Jed has worked in Environmental Consulting/Engineering for the last 20 years. He has been in a leadership/decision making project management role for over 15 years and has taken hundreds of environmental projects from inception to closure. He has assisted his clients through the complicated maze of environmental laws and regulations, all while maintaining the balance of client relationships, subcontractors, insurance policies, and local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. His clients have ranged from residential to commercial to industrial.
Since 2020, Jed has served as the Vice President for the West Branch Soccer Club (WBSC). Prior to his work with WBSC, he was the Regional Commissioner for Mill Hall American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). He has volunteered for various youth organizations over the last 10 years including: Mill Hall and Lock Haven AYSO; Long Run/Mill Hall Little League; Central PA Youth Basketball; and, Central Mountain Youth Wrestling.
Jed is excited to put his expertise in working with our local youth and families, residential and business owners, and various government entities to work for our community. Jed’s professional and volunteer experiences over the last 20 years has prepared him to serve as Magisterial District Judge with honesty, integrity, patience, open-mindedness, a steady demeanor, and common sense while still upholding the law.
