CM girls snare overtime win at Selinsgrove, 46-43

SELINSGROVE, PA – For the second time this season, the Central Mountain and Selinsgrove ladies needed an extra period to decide a game. Several weeks ago it was the Lady Seals picking up a 32-30 OT win at Central Mountain. However, on Friday night it was the CM Ladies reversing course and picking up a 46-43 OT road win.

The Lady Wildcats trailed by as much as nine in the second half before making some big plays to close the gap and eventually taking the lead before a Selinsgrove 3 would send the contest to overtime.

In the overtime period it was some key shots and defensive stops that allowed CM to outscore the home team 7-4 to take the 3-point win. CM was lead in the scoring column by senior Kiahna Jones with 17 but received big contributions up and down the line-up both offensively and defensively.

Now winners of three out of four, the Lady ‘Cats, 6-12 on the season, will host Cambria Heights on Wednesday.
