Ronald Lee Peters
Ronald Lee Peters, 70, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born September 29, 1952 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late LeRoy W. and Gladys Adams Peters.
Ron was a 1970 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
Following in the footsteps of his father, Ron worked and then owned and operated L.W. Peters Disposal of Lock Haven.
Ron’s first wife, Yvonne, passed away June 16, 2010.
On July 10, 2015, Ron married the former Amy I. Schaefer, who survives.
Ron enjoyed working and was incredibly devoted to his business. When he did take time for leisure, you would often find him at his river lot as he very much enjoyed the time he spent there. Ron was an avid pool player and looked forward to his annual vacations south to warmer, tropical weather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, LeRoy W. (Ann) Peter, Jr. of Beech Creek and Steven (Letty) Peters of Naperville, Ill; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Per Ron’s wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
