LH football announces 2023 signings; class includes Jersey Shore’s Kooper Peacock

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven head coach Dan Mulrooney on Wednesday announced a talented 48 person signing class as part of 2023 National Signing Day.

The fresh group of Bald Eagles features 38 incoming freshman and 10 transfers. Each of the new Bald Eagles have signed a National Letter of Intent, have been accepted and/or have enrolled at Lock Haven University.

The signees include talented Kooper Peacock from Jersey Shore High School. The Bulldog senior was a team leader and key component in the last several years of unparalleled Jersey Shore success.

Peacock’s senior season numbers at ‘Shore:

459 receiving yards, 28 receptions, 9 TD by air, 1,725 all-purpose yards.

On defense 4 interceptions, three of them were pic 6 for TDs and 27 tackles. 2 pass breakups. 

Total 1,140 total kick/punt return yards with a 21-yard average for punt returns … 35 yard average on kick returns … was rated No. 1 in kick return in the nation by MaxPreps.

Punting: 25 punts for 920 yards 36.8 average, longest was 65 yards; dropping 7 punts inside the 20-yard line.
