Wildcat wrestlers lead Ultimate Warrior tourney after two rounds
ALLPORT, PA – Central Mountain has moved seven wrestlers into the Friday night quarterfinal round of the 41-team Ultimate Warrior tourney at West Branch High School.
Advancing through the first two rounds were Luke Simcox at 133, Dalton Perry 139, Griffin Walizer 145, Braylen Corter 152, Rocco Serafini 189, Giovanni Tarantella 215 and Brayden Blackwell 285.
All other CM wrestlers, eight of them, were still alive in the consolations: Collin Bauman at 107, Jaggar Pardoe 114, Carnell Noone 127, Luke Ananea 139, Hunter Donley 152, Bryce Brungard 160, Jacob Weaver 171 and Dakota McDermott 215.
Team scores showed CM on top with 71.5 points and Mifflin County second with 61. Bald Eagle Area was in eleventh place with 33.5 points.
