Packer announces candidacy for Beech Creek Township Supervisor

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA – Dennis Packer, a Republican has announced his intent to run for a seat on the Beech Creek Township Board of Supervisors.

Packer lives in the township with his wife Crystal, their two grandchildren Wyatt, and Kara. He operates a small farm raising beef cattle. He is a retired Corrections Sergeant from the PA DOC – SCI Rockview and is currently employed part-time with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department and propane delivery for William Kessinger Propane in Beech Creek. He is a U.S. Army Active Duty Veteran, a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Lafayette Lodge #199, Clinton County Republican Party, and is currently the Beech Creek Township Republican Party Committeeman. He is a lifetime member of the Beech Creek – Blanchard Volunteer Fire Company where he is a fireman and a former longtime EMT and past EMS Captain. Packer also has served for a number of years as a certified State Constable.

In his candidacy announcement, Packer said, “The reason for running for Beech Creek Township supervisor is, I want to serve the citizens of the community with respect, dignity, and honesty while maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability to the residents of the township. I intend to be accessible to the residents of the township and to listen with an open mind with a willingness to work diligently with others to create positive outcomes for the progress and benefit of our community. I will also strive to be transparent in all my actions and dealings as a supervisor and be forthright with constituents in all Township business as it is their taxpayer dollars funding the operations and maintenance of the Township.”

Packer will be circulating his nomination petition in the forthcoming weeks.
