LADY WILDCATS FALL TO HUGHESVILLE, 65–40

MILL HALL-Central Mountain’s girls basketball team dropped a home contest to Hughesville on Monday night, falling 65–40.

Hughesville set the tone early, opening with an 18–9 first quarter and extending the lead to 40–13 by halftime. Central Mountain showed improvement after the break, outscoring the visitors 27–25 over the final two quarters, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Reagan Weaver led the Lady Wildcats with 18 points, while Payton Williams added 10. Camdyn Weaver finished with six points, and Elise McKean and Alaina Carnahan chipped in three points apiece.
