Register & Record Hoy announces re-election candidacy

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Register and Recorder Jennifer L Hoy has announced her candidacy for re-election in Clinton County. Hoy will seek the Republican nomination in the May 2023 primary election.

A lifelong resident of Clinton County, Hoy is a 1991 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She has worked in county government for 25 years, became the Register and Recorder following the retirement of the late Gail M. Gephart in 2013 and won her first four-year term in 2015.

Hoy lives in Gallagher Township with her husband of 29 years, Brian and their two adult children, Lauren and Kevin. She is the daughter of Barbara J. Rine of Dunnstown and the late Charles (Chuck) Rine Jr.

She is a member of the Woodward Township Recreation board, a former member of the Clinton County United Way, and volunteers for many other local organizations in Clinton County.

She said, “I am running for my third term in the Register & Recorders office because I want to continue to put my experience and compassion to work for the people of Clinton County.”
