CM 9th graders down Loyalsock
MILL HALL, PA – The Central Mountain boys junior high teams staged a tripleheader Monday against Loyalsock at the Harold Adams Gymnasium with the 9th grade team coming out victorious.
The 9th grade Wildcats looked impressive in a 56-38 win. Coach Mike Smith’s team had balanced scoring, led by 13 points from Noah Wells and 12 from Austin Frank. Isah Dorman and Dane Hanna each added nine tallies. Watt Probst checked in with seven points.
In the 7th grade game, the Wildcats started strong, but eventually fell by a 40-22 score. Jaiden McCloskey had 13 points for Central Mountain. The 8th graders lost to Loyalsock 29-20 with Caleb Stitzer leading Central Mountain with six points.
The 9th grade team is scheduled to be at Shikellamy on Friday. Coach Jamie Alexander’s 7th and 8th grade charges will be at Park Forest on Wednesday.
