New Love Center Fill-a-Bag Food Drive is ready to help those in need

JERSEY SHORE, PA – Price increases over these past months on gasoline, heating oil, groceries, and just about everything else have dramatically impacted people already on the edge of food insecurity. But The New Love Center is ready to do its part when it comes to food through its Fill-a-Bag Food Drive.

Sarah Kelchner, the organization’s pantry choice manager and administrative assistant, said “Through the help of our friends at West Pharmaceuticals, First Quality, Terrapin, Crossroads Church, and many other organizations and churches in our community, we have received approximately 8,427 pounds, including non-perishable food items and hams.”
