CMHS Head Football Coach Shanon Manning steps down
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA-Central Mountain High School is in the market for a new Head Football Coach. District officials announced Friday the resignation of head coach Shanon Manning. The release from District officials below:
The Keystone Central School District has received a letter of resignation from Central Mountain Head Football Coach Mr. Shanon Manning. Effective immediately Mr. Manning will be stepping down to focus more time on his family and career. Coach Manning has developed lifelong relationships with staff, parents, and most importantly students, during his time as the football head coach at Central Mountain High School. Several members of the coaching staff will remain in place in order to conduct offseason workouts until a new coaching staff is hired by the district. The district will begin a search for a new coach as soon as possible.
Coach Manning provided the following comments:
“I will always be grateful to the entire Wildcat family for the opportunity to coach such a tremendous program. This decision came with a lot of emotion, but I look forward to the opportunity to spend more time with my family. I wish the Wildcat football program nothing but success as they move forward. I truly appreciate all the time and effort that everyone devoted to the program while I was the head coach at Central Mountain. Go Cats!”
Manning was head coach for the wildcats for two years. The team went 0-10 in 2022.
