Republicans with the lead in early Clinton County election results
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The voter turnout was reported brisk across Clinton County for Tuesday’s mid-term election. The early pace was slower than usual at the county’s Piper Building, where results from the county’s 34 precincts are tabulated and posted. First precinct in was Lock Haven’s third ward, checking in at 8:37 p.m.
By 9 p.m. five precincts had returned their results. Early returns showed all four Republicans on the ballot in a heavily Republican county with leads over their Democratic counterparts. The totals also include 1,844 mail-in ballots.
