Scouts BSA Troup 54 complete community painting project

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP, PA-Scouts BSA Troop 54 Beech Creek-Blanchard painted a retaining wall at Harvey’s Run Park, Nittany Road in Castanea Township. The painting is part of a beautification project at the park. Volunteers included Scoutmaster Jerry Barton, Shepherd Hill, Eli Hill, Eddy Simoncek, James Turner, Luke Barton and Wayne Stuber. The Castanea Township Recreation Committee and Supervisor’s are upgrading the park with the recent installation of a mini-library and sign.
