Bucks Topple Northern Potter 51-40

bucks-basketballWYALUSING – The Bucktail boys’ basketball team bounced back from their opening night loss to Oswayo Valley by upping their offense to best Northern Potter 51-40 for a third place finish in the Jack Bush Tournament.

Ryan Fantasy led the Bucks with 16 points followed by Josh Knauff with 14. Derrick Long contributed six points with Ryan Prebble adding nine. Collin Burrows, Willie Hopkins and Tristan Shelb had two points each.

The effort brings the Bucks to 1-1 on the young season and won’t have long to savor their victory as they will host Millville on Tuesday with tip-off slated for 7:30 p.m.
