Bucks Fall to Oswayo Valley 41-32
WYALUSING – The Bucks boys’ basketball team opened their 2014-15 season with Oswayo Valley in the Jack Bush tournament. The bucks fell to OV 41-31.
Josh Knauff led the Bucks with 9 points while Derrick Long, Ryan Prebble and Ryan Fantaskey each added 6. Tristan Shelb scored 3 points and Mitch Intallura had 2.
The Bucks fell behind early in the first quarter but battled back to narrow the margin before the break trailing Oswayo Valley 22-18.
Though the Bucks were able to hang with OV in the second half, they couldn’t find enough offense to close the gap.
The Bucks will face the loser of Nothern Potter – Cowenesque Valley to bye for third place.
