Morgan Breaks BAHS All-Time Record
WILLIAMSON – It’s always good to have a positive start in your season opener. The Lady Bucks faced Galeton in the first round the Williamson Tip-Off Tournament, firstly, one of the Lady Bucks had a little personal business to take care of.
Maria Morgan needed just five points to set the all-time scoring record for Bucktail basketball. The record, set by Jason Paloskey in 1995 at 1,768 points. Morgan made short work of the milestone dropping back-to-back three-point shots to set the mark in the opening minutes of the game.
With the record breaking out of the way, Morgan led the Lady Bucks to a 59-46 win over Galeton.
Morgan finished with 23 points, added 15 assist, 5 Steals, 8 Rebounds. Werts had 16 Rebounds Ransom had 6 Rebounds, 2 steals. Tiffany Werts scored 18, Alaina Tripp added 8 with Abby Ransom contributing 7.
