Ross Library adds Book Sale Preview Night
LOCK HAVEN, PA – It’s almost time for the Annie Halenbake Ross Library Annual Book Sale. This year the library is adding a new Preview Night on Sept. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. For $20, VIP guests will enjoy wine and refreshments as they have the first opportunity to purchase books before the Wednesday morning crowd. Shop in comfort, beat the rush, and have access to the materials before anyone else.
WSQV’s Mark the Shark will also be on hand to meet VIP guests at the event. For tickets, please stop in Ross Library or call 570-748-3321 to reserve a space by credit card. Only 50 tickets are available for the event so register early.
The sale opens free to the public Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. and will run until Saturday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. Sale hours: Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m..; Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday is half price day, and Saturday is $5 bag/box day.
Books for all ages, audio books, DVDs, records, puzzles and more will be available. New materials are placed out every day, so shopping multiple days has benefits.
