Guided Hands Project Spreads Thanksgiving Cheer with Turkey Giveaway in Renovo

RENOVO – Tyrone McClain and Erin O’Brien took their “change through kindness” mantra throughout the Renovo area over the weekend as they aim to make Thanksgiving a little better, by donating turkeys for those that asked for assistance. The efforts are being done through McClain’s “The Guided Hands Project” which continuously looks for ways to help those that could use a little help when they need it most.

McClain’s group has been consistently been doing good for the area with staples such as Easter Egg hunts, a book bag drive just before the start of each school year, as well as the turkey giveaway held every November. So far 15 turkeys have been bought and then delivered by McClain and O’Brien, with others still planned before Thanksgiving.

“We just ask people through Facebook who may need help and go from there” McClain has said of their efforts that have become a welcomed gesture by so many in the community.
