Obituary
Jack L. Myers, 87, of Lock Haven, PA, passed away on August 4, 2022 at Bellefonte. Jack was born in Lock Haven, PA, to Robert and Helen Myers on September 11, 1934.
He went to high school at Lock Haven High School and graduated in 1952. He went on to earn a certificate in welding from Lincoln Welding Institute, and served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1959.
He worked as a welder for several construction companies; he owned his own welding company; and was a mechanical inspector for the state of Pennsylvania. He enjoyed attending Bald Eagle sporting events, stamp collecting, and walking his dogs. He received awards for his stamp collection. He was a member of the Logan Fire Company and frequently donated blood to the American Red Cross.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sonia Myers of Milesburg; his son Robert Myers and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Gruber of Lock Haven; his son, Jack Myers, Jr. of Bellefonte; his grandsons, Dylan Myers, William Myers, and Michael Myers; and his sisters, Judy McMann and Linda Myers.
The funeral service will be private; burial will be at Dunnstown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church of Bellefonte; the Clinton County SPCA (33 Mill Hill Road, Lock Haven), or Centre County PAWS.
