Obituary
Ronald H. “Ron” Wildey, 63, of Renovo died Saturday, July 30, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital where he was a patient since May 10.
He was born on November 24, 1958 in Connellsville and was the son of the late Kenneth H. and Helen (Nalevanko) Wildey.
On June 10, 2012 Ron married Elizabeth (Rodriguez), who survives and they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this year.
He was a graduate of Southmoreland Sr. High School, Class of 1976. He enjoyed wrestling and working out. After high school, Ron went on to work in various factories and then later in life he drove school bus and tried his best to make a difference in the lives of those he took to school every day. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his younger years.
Ron was a member of Lock Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a very caring person in all that he did. He was very active in AA and spoke to many people including those in prison and his local community. He also loved watching high School wrestling.
In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by three brothers; John, Michael and Carl and two sisters; Dawn Ann and Merri-Kay.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one infant sister; Jacky Sue Wildey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Lock Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church, 612 Frederick St., Flemington with Pastor Roy Weeden officiating. Following the service refreshments will be served.
Arrangements are being handled by Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd, Mill Hall.
