Richard C. “Dick” Thompson, 78, of Renovo passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo.
Born April 13, 1944 in Curwensville he was a son of the late Clair and Eva (Nesterode) Thompson.
Dick was married on May 10, 1969 to the former Cheryl C. Hyzer. They celebrated 53 years of marriage together.
He worked for Piper Aircraft, PENNDOT and later drove school bus.
He served in the Army.
Dick was a member of the Western Clinton Sportsmen Association. He served on borough council and the water authority.
Surviving are his loving wife; two sons, Richard C. (Susie) Thompson, Jr. of Bradford and Eric S. (Lisa) Thompson of Lock Haven and nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother Frank and two sisters Helen and Dorothy.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 at North Bend Cemetery with Kay Heck officiating.
