SEVIERVILLE, TN – Phyllis A. (Beldin) Gower 75 of Renovo, PA. Passed away on June 6, 2022 in Sevierville, TN. After a long illness.
What can I say about my Mom? Even if the family doesn’t believe it.
She loved us all deeply. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother by always making sure we had what we needed. She enjoyed time with family and watching old tv shows and listening to Christian music and watching I’m a Survivor Donkey & Farm Animal Sanctuary videos on the Internet. She came to faith in Jesus Christ and change occurred enough that she wanted it to become evident to everyone by being Baptized in September 2021 by My Pastor Dr.Justin Terrell.
Mom was preceded in death by her Husband of 50+ years Donald M. (Papa Smurf) Gower, a son Charles (Bill) Gower, a step Daughter Donna Gregory and parents Charles and Gladys Smith Beldin as well as brothers Ted, Ed, Lloyd, Kenny, Billy and Richard and sisters Donna Cool, Laura Arndt and Gladys (Susie) Gibbs. With Mom being 1 of the last 2 living siblings of 11.
She was the youngest daughter. Mom has 1 surviving brother who is the youngest sibling, Dennis Beldin of New Bethlehem, PA.
Mom leaves behind a son Donald W. (Carolyn) Gower of Renovo, PA. and a daughter Gladys (Karl) Forman of Sevierville, TN., seven grandchildren; Corey, Autumn, Don, Travis, Lyssie, Candace and J.J. and 13 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private Services for immediate family only will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home 320 Main St. Mill Hall, PA. at the family’s convenience. There will be no public viewing. Burial will be at Gardner Hill Cemetery, Weedville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home .
