Memorial Day 2022

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Americans are pausing on Monday, Memorial Day, to honor and recognize the fallen United States military members who made the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans’ groups across Clinton County held memorial services on both Sunday and Monday as part of their annual Memorial Day tribute.

Relatively new to Memorial Day observances are the Flags of Honor at Lock Haven’s Triangle Park. 143 American flags are on display at the park through Tuesday, each one dedicated to a veteran. A formal ceremony was held on Sunday.

Parades were also in the offing across Clinton County, Monday morning the more than century -old Beech Creek/Blanchard parade and Monday afternoon the Loganton parade. Renovo service organizations held their special programs on Sunday.
