Flags of Honor on display at Lock Haven’s Triangle Park

LOCK HAVEN, PA – It’s become a much-anticipated Memorial Day tradition, the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven and its Flags of Honor, the 2022 edition.

The civic organization has placed a record 143 American flags throughout the park, the flags erected in honor of community members from loved ones.

The Downtown Rotary group offered thanks to all who sponsored a flag and posted an invitation to the public to come out this weekend to see the patriotic display of flags. Lock Haven VFW Post 1630 will present its annual Memorial Day weekend ceremony at the park’s large flagpole at 12 noon Sunday. Booklets will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. The community is invited to come and bring a lawn chair.
